Wild Boar Trophy Hunting in France
Old Keilers on a Private Estate near Toulouse
Le séjour
Ce que vous allez vivre.
Spot-and-stalk trophy wild boar on a private 600-hectare estate one hour from Toulouse. Mature old keilers, a flat-rate trophy policy and an all-inclusive package from 3,450 euros, with no hidden fees.
The hunt at a glance
Univers Chasse Pêche has organised guided hunts for around twenty years. We operate as a licensed French travel agency (Atout France n°031950034) and are a member of the APST financial guarantee scheme, so your trip, your licence and your logistics are handled by a fully insured operator from start to finish.
Most wild boar hunting in France is run as driven shooting, with beaters and dogs pushing animals past standing guns. We work differently. On our managed estate we hunt by spot-and-stalk and from high seats, which lets your Professional Hunter assess and select the right animal before any shot is taken. The result is a more personal hunt and genuine control over trophy quality.
Why hunt this estate
- Spot-and-stalk and high seat hunting, not driven shooting: your PH selects the animal before you shoot.
- Mature old keilers, solitary males with fully developed tusks and the heavy, scarred build of age.
- Flat-rate trophy policy: the fee is fixed regardless of tusk length, with no negotiation at the end of your hunt.
- Year-round availability on an actively managed, fenced estate.
- Three species on one estate: wild boar, mouflon and red deer, available as trophy or cull animals.
Your stay, day by day
Day 1. Arrival, lodge check-in and safety briefing. Afternoon zeroing session on our 50-metre running boar range (camera controlled). Aperitif and dinner at the lodge.
Day 2. French breakfast and a full hunting day, by spot-and-stalk or from a high seat depending on conditions and your preference. Field trophy preparation if an animal is taken. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 3. Morning hunt, then departure after lunch. You can extend your stay with an additional hunting day at 420 euros per day.
The hunting method explained
The estate is laid out for selective hunting, with several feed stations, established game trails and high seats positioned over the most productive routes. Dawn and dusk are the most active times, and every shooting angle is assessed and approved by your PH before a shot. Cooler months bring animals to the feed stations earlier and more predictably. A boar qualifies as a trophy when the outside part of the tusk exceeds 5 cm, a clear and measurable standard you can check against the SCI records. Bow hunters are welcome, though additional days are usually needed to complete the hunt.
